This outdoor recreation facility began in 1997 as a small business offering snowmobile tours in the White Mountains. Since, Alpine Adventures has expanded to safari tours & zipline canopy tours. In 1852, the Mount Washington Cog Railway became the world's first mountain-climbing railway. Now, over 150 years later, the Cog Railway is a tourist attraction - just waiting to show off the six restored coal-fired locomotives, new base station, new tracks, replica coaches, and much more. As a part of America's great heritage, the Cog Railway is filled with a fun learning experience for all!

The Mount Washington Auto Road is a piece of America's history you will not want to miss. The road was established in 1861, operating under the name "Mount Washington Carriage Road". The Auto Road is traveled by modern vehicles, but still provides the amazing New England weather, scenery and history. The attraction allows visitor's to drive themselves, and also offers many guided tours.

The first exploration of Lost River took place in 1852 by the Lyman Brother's. Who would have known this discovery would lead to so much more! Although the attraction had rough trails and was simply lit by lanterns, thousands of people would come each year. "Lost River was given this name because the brook draining from the south east part of Kinsman Notch disappears below the surface."

The Kancamagus Highway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along NH's Rt. 112 in Northern New Hampshire. The Byway is most well-known for the fall foliage wonders, and attracts thousands of leaf peepers around the world!  Since no modern businesses have squeezed their way in there, including gas stations, hotels, and restaurants, the Highway remains in a perfect scenic form.

The Rock of Ages is a unique Vermont experience. The facility hosts a visitor center, quarry tour, factory tour & sandblast activity. The attraction provides a great learning experience - very different from other activities in the area. You may also enjoy  bowling on the world's only outdoor granite lane. To experience the 600 foot deep active granite quarry is a feeling you'll never forget!

Rock of Ages

Located only a few minutes from our location, the North Haverhill Fair is a five day long event with numerous rides, the event provides entertainment such as pig races, horse/ox pulls, demolition derby, and more! The event also hosts two different concerts. The first concert takes place on Friday night, while the second takes place on Saturday night. Past performers include Josh Gracin, Goo Goo Dolls.

Windy Ridge Orchard and Christmas Tree Farm has been providing the community with endless fun and learning experiences. Our children love to visit the animals and pick their own fresh fruit. The natural hiking trails are a great way to get out and enjoy the world around us.

The Lisbon Village Country Club, located only a short drive from our Campground, was built in 1928 by Ralph Barton. The facility has a full pro shop, retail & rentals, food and refreshments in the club house bar as well as a short iron practice range and large practice putting green.

Located only a few minutes from our Campground, the Blackmount Country Club is the closest golf course to our location. "Blackmount Country Club is a challenging 9 hole par 36 course with driving range, putting green, power carts, and pro shop. Lessons are available.
